End User License Agreement — PDF-izer

This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you and PDF-izer Inc. (“PDF-izer”, “we”, “us”) for the PDF-izer software application (“Software”). By downloading, installing, or using the Software, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not download, install, or use the Software.

  1. License grant. PDF-izer grants you a free, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software on Windows devices you own or control, for personal or internal business use.
  2. What you may not do. You may not sell, rent, sublicense, or redistribute the Software for a fee; reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble it except to the extent applicable law expressly permits; or remove or alter any proprietary notices.
  3. Your files stay yours. The Software processes your documents entirely on your own device. PDF-izer does not access, collect, transmit, or store your files or their contents, and the Software contains no advertising, bundled offers, or telemetry.
  4. Ownership. The Software is licensed, not sold. PDF-izer and its licensors retain all right, title, and interest in and to the Software, including all intellectual property rights. PdfSharp and other open-source components remain under their own licenses.
  5. Updates. We may, but are not obligated to, provide updates or new versions. This Agreement governs any update unless that update is accompanied by a separate license.
  6. Disclaimer of warranties. The Software is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You are responsible for keeping backups of your files.
  7. Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PDF-izer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the Software.
  8. Termination. This Agreement is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if you breach it. On termination you must stop using the Software and delete all copies.
  9. Governing law. This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
  10. Entire agreement & severability. This Agreement is the entire agreement between you and PDF-izer regarding the Software. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect.
